Projectile Motion

When we did our lab on the projectile motion of what would happen to shooting a ball out of a miniature cannon, we had to discuss the issues such as the projected length based on the angle and height of the cannon representation.  We discovered that we would have to use certain equations such as cos, sin and many others such as the regular equations we learned in class, including vat, dat, etc based on what would occur throughout the parabola. When we created the equations we also learned about how we have to start separate the x and y information due to the fact that they are dependent on two different axis.  That is what i learned about this chapter and section of projectile motion, including the fast slow stop fast slow motion we learned from the beginning.  In this picture it shows the water fountain coming into a parabola motion and how it occurs as a real life situation where you notice not just force from pressure but also gravity pulling it downwards on the y-axis.  When i watch and observed i saw the fast slow stop slow fast motion occuring over time.

Projectiles

When we talk about projectiles we talk about how movements works and how there is a x, y axis and how we find specifics by using our equations we have before only included the 2 factors of x and y depending on the situation and it helps us identify all variables, and get a better understanding of what we were missing variable.  This can really relate in real life to help us identify what we actually need to find and see.  In this photo it is a picture of me tossing a tennis ball, this relates to projectiles because it is the projectile itself and it also it causes you to look through the ball through acceleration and velocity.  Thus causing identity of y- axis and x-axis

A projectile is an object upon which the only force is gravity. Gravity acts to influence the vertical motion of the projectile, thus causing a vertical acceleration. The horizontal motion of the projectile is the result of the tendency of any object in motion to remain in motion at constant velocity. Due to the absence of horizontal forces, a projectile remains in motion with a constant horizontal velocity. Horizontal forces are not required to keep a projectile moving horizontally. The only force acting upon a projectile is gravity.  When we did our lab with the projectiles we had to create graphs that showed us the motions and all the things that occurred. In this picture it shows me the human being the projectile and how my downward force with gravity is pushing me down

Extra Credit Blog Post

In this photo i was sharing one of the many labs that we have and this was the pendulum lab and explaining the specifics and how things work though motion, and the different types of variables being shown because of the effects that have on the motion and time.  They found it astonishing due to the fact that they never learned this type of physics and didnt get exposed to these types of equations when they were in their respected high school.  They really wished that back then they had these equations to help them throughout all the problems and throughout the whole course of their physics class.  In the other picture it shows that my parents acknowledge and signed their signature and said they were there at my presentation to them

Final Blog Post

In Science we learned about many things in science, specifically physics.  We learned about the ways the Hawaiians, used their measurements since they did not have a set measurement as complex as ours now in the present.  We learned about the relationships and how it can be related when we reflect the relationship to the graphs and what are the different types of graphs that are in relations to the different types of scenarios.  We learned mostly about movement and kinematics, such as pendulum lab and how the way the movement moves based on many variables that change the situation, including time, space, angle and etc.  Kinematics we learned about how movement depends on the relation to what certain thing or object.  Included that we also talk about the displacement and acceleration/ velocity movements.  There are many equations that really helped me how to better understand and think clearly what is suppose to be defined or what are we trying to figure out.  These are the things i remembered and things that i really felt was the summarization of the whole unit
